RLTY partners with Paris Blockchain Week and Sotheby’s to Bring Flagship Web3 Event and First NFT Auction to the Metaverse
RLTY will present Paris Blockchain Week in its customisable RLTY World, with Sotheby’s set to host an NFT auction with art from Beeple, Julien Rivoire, Brinkman and more
Paris Blockchain Week, Europe’s largest blockchain conference, has partnered with RLTY to simultaneously host its flagship web3 event in the metaverse. Taking place in RLTY’s customizable metaverse RLTY World, the event will showcase, not just the potential for tomorrow, but what is possible in virtual worlds today.
At the heart of the virtual experience, four custom-built stages will livestream panels, discussions and keynotes from Paris. If insight from the main stage, networking opportunities and the business case for web3 aren’t enough, RLTY is bringing the PBW Talent Fair to the metaverse. Top industry recruiters from web3, crypto and blockchain will share their expertise, insight and strategies to help build careers in web3. The Talent Fair is a must for any student or entrepreneur looking for web3 employment opportunities, but unable to get to Paris.

Via a partnership with Sotheby’s, RLTY will take the immersive experience further, with the world’s biggest auction house holding a live NFT auction in the RLTY World metaverse. Named ‘Oddly Satisfying Sale’, the auction will feature 66 pieces of NFT art from both established and up-and-coming digital artists and will be streamed live on screens at the Sotheby’s auction house in Paris. The NFT artwork will be on display during the conference and available at auction on Sotheby’s website from the 17th — 24th March and in RLTY World from 20th — 21st March.
Attendees can access networking spaces, private meeting rooms, a web3 Talent Fair and over 30 sponsors with virtual stands while recruiters, HR representatives and applicants can use the 20 private virtual rooms for interviews and meetings, all of which have geospatial sound capabilities, avatar tracking and a full range of video and audio tools.
