The Sandbox has signed a strategic partnership with Metaverse Events company RLTY to leverage its suite of event building tools and architecture on the platform. Once deployed, the easy-to-use, no-coding toolkit will open the doors for a new generation of brands to plan, create and launch immersive experiences for their communities in The Sandbox.
To showcase the power of its architecture, RLTY has bought a 6x6 plot of LAND. The space will be used to host self-produced events in licensing partnerships with major festivals, artists, galleries, conferences, fashion shows and brands. Further strengthening their commitment to the partnership, RLTY experiences will also be hosted in The Sandbox.
Part virtual real estate, gaming world and entertainment centre, the next step for The Sandbox is to embrace the metaverse as a place for events, of a shared digital space where brands, businesses, artists and event organizers can easily host the next SXSW, International Fashion Week or Super Bowl after-show party.
By accelerating the number of events, partnering with RLTY will cement The Sandbox’s position as the first destination for brands looking to enter Web3 and create digital event experiences for their communities.
Can Events Be Bigger Than Gaming in the Metaverse?
With the full range of services brands need to launch their metaverse event, the RLTY architecture includes digital venues, NFT tickets, sales and distribution, access control, Web3 marketing tools, pre and post-event NFT monetisation tools, in-event gamification options and an event dashboard for detailed event analysis.
The partnership sets the scene for luxury brands, large corporations, IRL event organizers, and Web3 NFT communities to not only gather their communities in a virtual event on The Sandbox but to have the tools to build out their ambition and imagination.
